Job Title: Travel Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced travel professional to act as a liaison between our company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookings for domestic and international flights and rail services.
  • Provide information on travel products and services, including visa requirements, foreign exchange, and health regulations.
  • Handle refunds and cancellations of domestic and international air tickets.
  • Coordinate the issuance of tickets with proper deal codes and utilize bonus miles and rewards.
  • Follow communication scripts when handling different topics.
  • Coordinate with clients, implant teams, and servicing teams.
  • Assist in follow-up with invoicing and recoveries.
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.
Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills with active listening.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong domestic and international travel knowledge.
  • Ability to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Travel and Tourism preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a travel management company.
