Job Title: Power BI Architect

Overview:

As a Power BI Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and data models that provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data models that transform raw data into meaningful insights by understanding business requirements in the BI context.
  • Create interactive visual reports using Power BI and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs consistently and analyze data to present it through reports that support decision-making.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and set timelines for delivery.
  • Design and develop tabular/multidimensional models, including OLAP cubes over DW/DM/DB.
  • Write complex DAX and MDX queries to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Design and guide BI-related IT architecture in existing or new landscapes, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Provide blueprinting, gather requirements, and roll out BI solutions to end-users.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts with advanced analytics.
  • Analyze current ETL processes and define improvements.
  • Contribute to data warehouse development using SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Redefine and implement strategic improvements to current BI systems.
  • Customize charts and calculations based on user requirements.
  • Deploy business intelligence solutions that meet evolving organizational needs.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in visual reporting and dashboard development.
  3. At least 6 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
  4. Strong expertise in SQL Server.
  5. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  7. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
