Job Opportunity: Emerging Filmmaker for Documentary Project

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact documentary film showcasing India's advancements in space science and technology.

The project requires strong narrative craft and creative execution, seeking a talented Director/Script Specialist who is passionate about filmmaking, research, and storytelling in the science and technology domain.

  • Support the production team in day-to-day activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Contribute to developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate scheduling, shot lists, and logistics with the production team.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.

This role involves contributing to script development, research, and creative coordination across the production cycle.

About the Project

The project explores the nation's advancements in space science and technology, requiring strong narrative craft and creative execution.

As a member of the team, you will gain hands-on experience working on a national-level film project, mentorship under an experienced director, and exposure to the unique intersection of cinema, public policy, and science communication.

You will also receive a credited internship certificate upon successful completion and a potential opportunity to travel to a space centre facility.
