Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support our team of experts in the field of carbon advisory, renewable energy, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct desk-based research to develop our knowledge base of carbon markets, categorize reports, documents, policies, and analysis at local and national levels;
  2. Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services;
  3. Establish relationships with key contacts in organizations and generate leads through regular follow-ups;
  4. Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas;
  5. Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow and expedite processes through established practices;
  6. Develop client contracts based on company size and service requirements;
  7. Support reporting managers in tracking and maintaining leads generated and providing data for client-specific presentations.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, power sector, WTE, or NBS. They must be able to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts. Strong communication, report-writing, and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and a team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability are required.
