Job Title: Travel Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookings: You will be responsible for managing bookings for domestic and international flights, rail, visa, forex, health regulations, and insurance.
  • Provide product information: You will need to provide information on products and services, including ticket refunds and cancellations.
  • Coordinate ticket issuance: You will coordinate the issuance of tickets with proper deal codes and bonus miles utilization.
  • Follow communication scripts: You will follow established communication scripts when handling different topics.
  • Client coordination: You will co-ordinate with clients, implant, and servicing teams.
  • Invoicing and recoveries: You will assist with invoicing and recoveries.
  • Customer needs identification: You will identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills: You should have effective communication skills and active listening.
  • Computer reservation system knowledge: You should have excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling.
  • Negotiation and interaction: You should be able to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Time management: You should be able to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Travel trends knowledge: You should have sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Geography interest: You should have a passionate interest in geography and strong domestic and international travel knowledge.
  • Attention to detail: You should be able to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.

Total Experience Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Travel Management Company.
