Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of legal provisions to deliver accurate and timely advice.
  • Draft high-quality reports, opinions, and compliance documents that meet the highest standards.
  • Presentation skills are essential for delivering engaging presentations to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Analyze complex client data to estimate tax implications on business transactions and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • BUILD SCENARIOS TO IDENTIFY THE MOST TAX EFFICIENT BUSINESS MODEL AND DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to articles, monographs, and other publications that showcase the firm's expertise.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by executing tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Handle tax matters, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, and appeals, ensuring seamless communication with tax authorities.
  • Represent clients during meetings and negotiations with tax authorities, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and firm-wide initiatives.
  • Apply knowledge to develop innovative solutions that address clients' complex tax challenges.
Requirements:
  • Hold a CA degree or LLB from a reputable Law School.
  • Excellent English language skills and a strong academic background are essential.
  • A good personality, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are required.
  • Post-qualification experience in indirect tax advisory/litigation (2-4 years) is necessary.
