Desktop Support Specialist

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality technical assistance for desktops, laptops, and peripherals to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to Microsoft Outlook, including email configuration, sync problems, and PST management.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS and fundamental software applications to guarantee seamless user experience.
  • Utilize ticketing tools to record, track, and close IT support tickets according to predefined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations to maintain a stable IT environment.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to address escalated or network-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and ensure thorough documentation of support tasks to facilitate future reference.
  • Provide remote or on-site support to end-users across departments to meet diverse needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in desktop support.
  • A graduate degree from any stream is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist users in resolving technical issues related to their desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  2. Provide training and guidance to enhance users' technical skills and productivity.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
