Job Title: Electrical Engineer

This role plays a vital part in building services design and development, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of electrical power.

You will undertake detailed electrical engineering designs using hand calculations and cross-check results to ensure accuracy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed electrical engineering designs using hand calculations and cross-check results to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare technical specifications and schedules for projects.
  • Contribute to and prepare design development reports for review and implementation.
  • Plan and manage input production of design work, prioritizing tasks for timely completion.
  • Engage and participate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) development as a tool for all design-related issues.
  • Add value to projects by thinking beyond the core discipline and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and assist graduate engineers in their professional development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad design knowledge from Concept to Tender Designing on various projects.
  • Proven experience in Electrical Engineer roles on multiple projects.
  • Domain expertise in electrical codes and standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to quickly learn new analysis packages and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Digital engineering experience advantageous (e.g., coding).
  • Bachelor's degree (BEng) or Master's degree (MEng) in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in Revit highly desirable.
