Substation Project Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Substation Project Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead the design and implementation of primary and secondary electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety across substation infrastructure.

About the Role
  • This role requires strong technical knowledge of substation design, power systems, protection schemes for HV/MV substation projects.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating the integration of electrical and control systems, preparing and reviewing technical drawings, and conducting detailed design reviews and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 6-16 years of experience in designing primary/secondary electrical systems for substation projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Design primary and secondary electrical systems for substations, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and other essential equipment.
  2. Coordinate the integration of electrical and control systems across substation infrastructure.
  3. Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings, including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection schemes.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and local regulations in electrical designs.
  5. Conduct detailed design reviews, risk assessments, and safety checks to ensure reliability and robustness of the designs.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time, and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases of substation projects.
