Role Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering aspects of building services design and calculations. Your key focus areas include:


Key Responsibilities
  • Developing detailed electrical engineering designs and performing calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilizing Revit and Amtech software to support building design, performance, and embodied carbon assessments.
  • Embracing cutting-edge technologies to improve sustainability and contribute towards net-zero targets by 2030.
  • Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to excellent standards.
  • Representing the company at client, site, and external design meetings.
  • Producing and reviewing reports, presentations, models, drawings, technical specifications, schedules, and design development reports.
  • Managing Revit inputs for production of design work.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines in discussions, events, and seminars.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, with potential for early line management responsibilities.
  • Autonomously representing the company to clients, architects, and collaborators.
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed design calculations, specifications, schedules, and reports.

Requirements
  • Strong expertise in electrical engineering design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using Revit and Amtech software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers is desirable.
