Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of client accounts and financial operations.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining and updating client ledgers, tracking deposits, withdrawals, and trading margins.
- Reconciling daily balances to ensure accuracy in client accounts.
- Reconciling executed trades with exchange and back-office systems.
- Calculating and recording brokerage, statutory fees, and other trade-related charges.
- Generating detailed profit and loss reports for clients and providing charge breakdowns.
- Deducting and recording applicable taxes, ensuring accurate reporting to authorities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in stockbroking or financial services.
- Proficiency in accounting software and stock trading platforms.
- Strong understanding of stock market operations, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliance.
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end client onboarding process, including KYC verification and account setup.
- Processing and recording client pay-ins and pay-outs for trades.
- Ensuring timely completion of settlement obligations.
- Reconciling daily trades with stock exchanges, ensuring accuracy in trade settlements.
