Job Brief:

">

A front desk manager/executive/associate shall be responsible for the effective management of our company's backpacker hostels. He/she shall be entrusted to effectively be a part of the managing team for a 35-50 keys hotel/hostel overseeing multiple facets of operations including front office, housekeeping, F&B, guest experience, R&M & engineering, security & safety, etc. as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Extensive work experience in the hospitality/hotel industry">
  3. Understanding of the company vision, business expansion plans, operational standards, etc.">
  4. Optimising hotel operations with a bird eye view">
  5. Understanding hotel pre-launch phase, day to day operations, etc.">
  6. Supervising various functions and human resources (blue/white collar)">
  7. Managing operational quality with attention to detail on various parameters such as infrastructure, services, staff, operations, etc. to ensure high service quality">
  8. Handling & resolving escalations and grievances">
  9. Liaising with various departments such as local police, health/fire/safety departments, local vendors, etc. and ensuring a cordial relationship">
  10. Coordinating with other departments within the company to help resolve issues">

Qualifications:

  2. Hospitality graduate/post-graduate or diploma in hospitality">
  3. Min. 1-3 years of experience in a hotel, hostel, guest house, etc.">
  4. Extensive operational knowledge of hotel operations">
  5. Outstanding communication, interpersonal & time-management skills">
  6. Flexible to relocate anywhere in southern India">
  7. High attention to detail">
