Job Title: Senior Operations Manager - Engineering Department

This role is responsible for leading the engineering department in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business success.

  • The Chief Engineer will develop and implement strategies to support the hotel's goals, monitor progress regularly, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • The position involves developing the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Committee, participating in the development of marketing, sales, and yield management plans, and continually improving the engineering department to adhere to hotel brand standards.
  • The ideal candidate will maximize profitability and revenue by directing the Engineering department, manage third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality, and develop and implement quality control programs.
  • The Chief Engineer will review contracts, negotiate revisions, and interpret plans and contract terms with the Engineering team, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Maintaining compliance with building safety codes, health, and safety laws, and conducting walk-throughs to assess the safety and efficiency of equipment and maintenance of structures are key responsibilities.
  • Additionally, the role requires managing hotel renovations, coordinating project status with regional offices, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management.
  • B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required for this position.
