Operations Management Role">

The position is responsible for overseeing a team of production associates to execute tasks in line with the shift plan and adhering to specified quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Implement work schedules, assignments, and production sequences for operators by machine as per shift plan.
  • Provide inputs to the manufacturing manager regarding manpower requirements for contract employees, temporary employees, and labourers.
  • Assess resource requirements to ensure continuous production flow and provide necessary guidance.
  • Troubleshoot problems arising in machine functioning and seek assistance from maintenance when needed.

Additional responsibilities include supervising overall production, monitoring various parameters, maintaining inventory, attending meetings, and escalating key issues timely.

Quality Management:">

Ensure adherence to prescribed quality norms and standards. Conduct quality checks as per standard operating procedures and reduce in-process and finished goods rejections and internal rework.

Cost Management:">

Initiate cost-saving measures through innovative ideas and optimum usage of machines, manpower, energy, and processes. Ensure effective utilization of materials during production.

Safety, Health, and Environment:">

Ensure safety measures are followed and take initiatives to enhance acceptance of safety through conducting safety meetings. Promote workplace safety and report any accidents or incidents.
