Backend Technical Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Backend Technical Lead to spearhead technical excellence and guide full-stack development.

About the Role

This pivotal position demands ownership of backend architecture and development, directing a team of engineers and delivering high-performance applications that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Architect systems with seamless integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks to drive digital transformation.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices to elevate team performance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery that meets customer expectations.
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation to support future growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel.
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify.
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks.
  • Proficiency in:
  • PHP, Laravel, Java.
  • ReactJS, Node.js.
  • MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB.
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
