Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans that align with our mission and vision, driving business growth and success.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategic projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery through effective coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conduct market analysis and gather competitor insights to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Corporate Development: Identify and evaluate opportunities for growth and innovation, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances.
  • Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Foster a culture of innovation within the organization, driving growth and development of new products, services, and business models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build support and gather insights for strategic initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and commercial implications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, an MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.), 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors, prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting, experience in techno-commercial functions is highly advantageous.
