Job Title

Operational Excellence Specialist

This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to improve operational effectiveness and profitability across global manufacturing sites and processes.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in implementation of Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement projects in manufacturing environments.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business results through Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
  • A strong technical background, combined with project management skills and change management expertise, is essential for this role.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
About the Role

This position is responsible for collaborating with Site Leadership Teams and the Director of Operational Excellence to develop and lead performance transformations that enhance operational excellence and drive continuous improvement cultures.

The successful candidate will be accountable for conducting diagnostics to identify areas for improvement, proposing and supporting projects and programs within the businesses, and ensuring sustainability of improvements through training and skill building of leaders.

In addition, the Operational Excellence Specialist will work closely with other OE Managers in US, EU & IN sites and the Director of OE (US, EU & IN) to implement improvement initiatives.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing cost improvement projects through operational efficiencies.
  • Establishing OEE programs to track, identify, and eliminate lost production causes.
  • Conducting value stream mapping exercises to define processes and promote the use of LEAN tools and approaches.
  • Supporting the execution of improvement projects by promoting proven tools and approaches to achieve manufacturing excellence.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in project/program management, operational excellence/continuous improvement, or consulting roles.
  • Extensive previous experience in implementation of OE/CI projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Strong technical skills, combined with project management and change management expertise.
