Local Project Coordinator

Pyxera Global seeks a part-time Local Project Coordinator in Bengaluru, India. This role will provide project management and logistical support to executive corporate volunteers providing pro bono consulting services to local social sector organizations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential host client organizations and develop scopes of work for specific intervention areas.
  • Support clients in preparing for volunteer arrivals and arranging stakeholder meetings.
  • Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers prior to their arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Advise and guide volunteers on scope delivery.
  • Act as the interface between Pyxera Global and partner organizations in Bengaluru, ensuring regular correspondence for satisfaction.
  • Prepare financial and final program reports.
  • Logistical Support:
  • Procure and negotiate accommodations and transportation in Bengaluru for corporate volunteers.
  • Coordinate program launch and closing events for volunteers and clients.
  • Prepare guides and suggestions for project participants.
  • Orient new volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Manage project travel logistics for volunteers while in Bengaluru.
  • Monitor and advise on security arrangements for volunteers in Bengaluru.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Must be based in Bengaluru with area familiarity.
  2. College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, or related field.
  3. Minimum 5-10 years of experience.
  4. Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  5. Ability to conduct gap and SWOT analysis and develop consulting scopes of work with minimal supervision.
  6. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  7. Ability to multitask and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  8. Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with minimal supervision.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  10. Fluent in English with Kannada fluency a plus.
  11. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  12. Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
