Job Overview:

This is a high-level management position that oversees the implementation of site master plans, drives change management processes, and maintains alignment between departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site master plans for Malt plant, HBS, and IMFL packaging hall
  • Set objectives and priorities for the department and lead change management processes
  • Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating departments
  • Lead departments in implementing practices to meet broad plans
  • Coach managers to develop teams and produce performance results

People Management:

  • Demonstrate managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities
  • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programmes by aligning site/line management
  • Coordinate Total Quality Control and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with program

Focused Improvement:

  • Provide expert leadership and coaching to operational teams to reduce loss & waste
  • Participate in and lead as required improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
  • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility
  • Engage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities

Team Meetings & Communications:

  • Implement weekly/monthly/quartely communications to drive engagement and momentum of the journey
  • Support Task Forces and Shift Based teams in their deployment of practices through regular meetings and communication of activities
  • Define and establish the site leadership team's schedule to support and lead the deployment of practices
