Below are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Team Lead-Intercompany Accounting.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to handle end-to-end intercompany processes, including billing for IC transactions, reviewing global IC BS and P&L variances, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Implement the IC accounting process, including learning IC balances elimination logics in Oracle FCCS.
  • Review month-end activities performed by the IC team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle queries from audit and tax teams, provide solutions to multiple stakeholders, and establish effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvisation: Standardize IC processes, assign end-to-end activities to team members, identify potential automation opportunities via transformation projects, and strategize plans to achieve team goals.
  • IC Process Documentation & Cross Training: Improve Standard Operating Procedures, create back-up layers for business continuity planning, and document processes for accurate reporting.
  • Team Management: Monitor team performance, report on metrics, discover training needs, provide coaching, manage schedules, delegate tasks, and guide team members on active projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA with 8+ years of experience in Finance Controllership/Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience in handling intercompany accounting, IC ledger reviews, reconciliations, month-end close, and transformation projects.
  • Team handling experience and end-to-end process knowledge of intercompany processes.
  • Experience in handling multiple stakeholders from different global regions.
Technical Experience:
  • Multiple ERP systems knowledge (SAP & QAD).
  • Consolidation Platform Experience (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, Tagetik, Trintech) - Good to Have.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Blackline - Good to Have.

  • Ability to communicate strongly and influence.
