Investment Promotion Executive

Role Overview:

In this strategic role, you will serve as the primary interface between international governments and potential investors.

You will engage with C-level executives, identify new business opportunities, and present compelling proposals to enable Indian companies to expand globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage strong relationships with government agencies, trade bodies, and economic development organizations.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring their investment promotion objectives are met.
  • Conduct high-level discussions with CEOs, CFOs, and CXOs to understand international expansion plans.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for investment promotion in targeted geographies and execute ongoing projects.
  • Draft and present strategic recommendations and project plans to stakeholders.
  • Analyze sectoral trends and identify potential investors for targeted markets.
  • Facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and investment promotion events.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in investment promotion, economic development, international trade, market-entry consulting, or business development with governments/trade bodies.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with FDI, global trade, and sectoral trends (manufacturing, services, technology, life sciences).
  • Networking skills: Strong engagement and relationship-building skills with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Research & Analysis: Ability to interpret market intelligence and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English, confident presentation skills.
