Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing level 2 production support for our Retirement Planning and Wealth Management applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues related to our retirement planning and wealth management applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in production support, particularly in retirement planning and wealth management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to articulate key takeaways from analysis of support issues and solutions.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity to understand products, how they work, and how to troubleshoot critical incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java applications on AWS.
  • Familiarity with Splunk and CloudWatch for reviewing and analyzing incidents.
  • Strong experience in SQL, ORACLE, DB2, Shell scripting in Unix/Linux.
