We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Tender Specialist to manage our company's presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end operations, including product listing, tender bid management, and order processing.

Job Description:

As a Tender Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all GeM policies, terms, and conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Registering and updating company details, products, and pricing on the GeM portal
  • Monitoring competitor pricing and adjusting product prices to remain competitive

You will also be responsible for managing product listings with complete details, specifications, images, and documentation. Regularly update the product catalog based on new product launches, stock availability, and pricing changes.

Bid & Tender Management:

Identify government tenders on the GeM portal and prepare bid documents. Submit bids within stipulated timeframes and ensure compliance with tender requirements.

Order Processing & Client Interaction:

Process and manage orders received through the GeM portal. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment. Act as a primary contact point for government agencies and clients, addressing their queries and concerns.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with GeM's guidelines and government regulations. Prepare and submit MIS reports documenting tender activities, sales performance, and other relevant metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in e-commerce, particularly with government tenders and the GeM portal
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Google Drive, and hands-on experience with the GeM portal
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Good analytical skills to understand tender documents and government requirements
