Job Title: Store Incharge

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage all aspects of our plant store operations, ensuring operational efficiency and quality excellence in a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, manufacturing date, and other details against the Purchase Order (PO).
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of indents.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all materials received, issued, and in storage and ensure proper documentation in ERP software, including MRN (Material Receipt Note).
  • Issue debit notes for returned or rejected materials and coordinate their return.
  • Monitor and maintain required minimum stock level as per the approved list for Raw Material & Finished Goods.
  • Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and barcode tracking of inventory items.
  • Track all inventory movements – including receipts, issues, and internal transfers.
  • Prepare delivery notes /DCs/STN and required documents for stock transfer.
  • Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices to maintain efficient stock rotation.
  • Prepare and send a monthly material request procurement plan to the purchase department.
  • Liaise with production to ensure materials are available and with the sales department regarding the status of finished goods.
  • Coordinate decisions to retain/sell scrap with reporting manager.
  • Prepare non-moving items report on a monthly basis and make arrangements for disposal, as approved by Store Head & Unit Head.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing and support in periodic audits and compliance checks.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment, including transfer equipment and ensure their proper maintenance.
  • Run warehouse management systems through barcoding function.
  • Ensure all store activities are in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Integrated Management Manual.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: B.Com/B.Sc (Graduation)
  • Experience in Inventory/Store Management in Automotive Industry
  • Proficiency in:
    • ERP systems, MS Excel and Word
    • Barcode systems/tools
    • Inventory management principles/practices
