Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

At our logistics organization, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Transportation Coordinator to oversee the movement of goods from one location to another. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a challenge.

The Transportation Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that shipments arrive on time and in good condition. Responsibilities include:

  1. Tracking and Tracing: Monitor the progress of shipments and ensure that they are delivered to the correct location.
  2. Load Management: Build, update, and close loads in transportation management software to optimize routes and reduce transit times.
  3. Dispatching: Coordinate with drivers and transporters to dispatch vehicles and ensure that shipments are delivered promptly.
  4. Documentation: Collect and upload proof of delivery, receipts, and other relevant documents to facilitate smooth transactions.
  5. Communication: Interact with shippers, brokers, and customers via email and phone to resolve any issues or concerns.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Experience: A minimum of [X] years of experience in dispatching or transportation operations, preferably in reefer transport.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in transportation management software, such as ALVYS TMS, and/or similar systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
