Job Title: Global Trade Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of export shipments.

Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate with the sales team to plan and manage shipments based on customer requirements.

You will work closely with manufacturing sites to ensure timely movement of shipments, minimizing additional costs incurred due to detention or extra charges.

  1. Negotiate with Freight Forwarders to secure competitive freight rates and coordinate with them, transporters, and Custom Brokers for seamless shipment processes.
  2. Communicate shipment updates to customers and verify post-shipment documents to submit them to banks within the stipulated timeframe.
  3. Handle customer queries and audit-related issues with ease, utilizing your expertise in handling both LCL and FCL shipments.
  4. Maintain proficiency in preparing documents under Letter of Credit and LC Clause, as well as working on ERP systems like SAP HANA.
  5. Liaise with shipping companies and Custom Brokers, while also preparing MIS reports and checking/closing IDPMS and EDPMS open transactions.

To excel in this role, you should have a graduate degree in any field and at least 2 years of experience in export coordination at an executive level. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders throughout the process.
