A cutting-edge FinTech AI SaaS startup is looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Tax Analyst, Global Trade. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied research and tax compliance, with a focus on Indirect Taxes & Global Trade.

This full-time internship is located in Bangalore Urban district, where the successful candidate will work closely with our small team of experts to drive innovation in Tariffs & Taxes management at a global level.

The intern will be responsible for conducting applied research in Indirect tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategies from a Product development perspective. They will also perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with a specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research in Indirect tax planning, tax compliance, and tax strategies from a Product development perspective.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science strongly preferred.
  • Deep research interest in Taxation, strategic and tactical implications on Trade, impact on GDP, and Tax Compliance.
  • Experience in research methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of global trade and tax regulations is a strong plus.
