The key objective of this position is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws.

  • Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns and related deliverables within designated deadlines.
  • Offer strategic advice and recommendations on tax planning, withholding responsibilities, and social security contributions.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR departments to ensure precise calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and social security contributions.
  • Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits.
  • Diligently maintain detailed tax records and documentation for accuracy and audit-readiness.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in international tax laws and regulations.
  • Compile and present tax reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Commerce Graduate or Postgraduate degree with a US CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is mandatory.
  • Experience: 6+ years in Canada & US Individual Taxation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Possess sound technical knowledge and analytical thinking ability.
