DC Operations Manager

The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a data center, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

  • Lead Shift Team: Lead a team of professionals responsible for maintaining the data center's infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Incident Management: Identify, report, and resolve any incidents or issues that may affect data center operations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the management of assets, including equipment, software, and personnel, to ensure optimal utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, as well as adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all data center operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree: Possess a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Data Center Experience: Have at least 7+ years of experience working in data centers or critical facilities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Technical Skills: Possess solid technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
