Job Description

A key objective of this role is to lead and manage the entire process of material aggregation from various sources, ensuring high-quality raw materials are sourced efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in network management, segregation, production planning, sales strategies, and value-added services. They should be skilled in creating market demand for recyclable materials, managing factory compliance, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and optimizing performance using Lean manufacturing principles and six sigma design processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network with vendors and stakeholders to identify reliable suppliers of good-quality raw materials.
  • Manage the segregation of scrap based on quality standards to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
  • Oversee site-level production teams to ensure smooth production operations and meet productivity targets.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for recyclers and manufacturers, including identifying new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with partners to enhance the value of feedstock through washing, flaking, or granulating processes.
  • Create a market for recyclable plastic products, such as Polyolefins-HDPE and PP.
  • Ensure factory compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate profit-and-loss statements.
  • Implement SOPs for aggregation, segregation, quality assurance, and quality control of plastic waste.
  • Continuously monitor and improve SOPs using data-driven insights and best practices in Lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
  • Identify and implement key projects and kaizens to increase productivity and efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare timely, concise, and accurate reports on daily, weekly, and monthly project progress using standardized formats.
  • Develop machine inspection check sheets, pre-dispatch check sheets, and operation check sheets for site-level implementation.
  • Ensure that segregation activities adhere to required quality standards.
General Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and demonstrate excellent prioritization and workload management skills.
  • E nsure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and protocols at all levels of the organization.
  • Guarantee confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
  • Be prepared to travel frequently across multiple sites, sometimes on short notice, as per project or business needs.
