Material Data Analyst Role

The Material Master Data Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing business efficiency, product lifecycle management, and strategic decision-making by ensuring high-quality material master data within SAP HANA. This position ensures data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the supply chain, procurement, finance, and production functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Extending new material codes in various depots with HSN Code, Shipping point, planned price, and standard cost for diverse materials in depots/plant across India.
  • Maintaining master data for Material Master Data.
  • Utilizing the SAP MDO Tool to create new VERP, ROH, and HAWA codes for improved data quality.
  • Working on ServiceNow ticketing tool and MDO Tools and Workflow Testing for Material Creation, Extension, and Change.
  • Performing Material Master Change activities, Material Availability checks, Material Stock Checks, and stock transfers.
  • Transferring materials using MIGO.
  • Providing training to end-users on Material Activities like creation, change, and extension.
  • Supplying production data to create masters data, BOMs, Routing, and WorkCentres through BDC Reports.
  • Adhering to tasks and roles assigned, understanding business exigencies, and supporting business operations by working extended hours.
  • Preparing various MDM MIS and DASHBOARD reports on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Meeting defined SLAs for respective activities.
  • Necessitating SAP ECC/HANA experience.
