Job Description

The successful candidate will spearhead enterprise data-driven transformations, leveraging in-depth expertise to guide technical teams and design scalable architectures for unified customer profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise data management solutions.
  • Define data models, ingestion strategies, identity resolution, harmonization, and activation of unified customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable data management solutions.
  • Manage data governance, security, and compliance across multiple data sources.
  • Integrate data platforms with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and external data systems.
  • Provide guidance on AI/ML use cases and data integrations.
  • Mentor and lead a team of professionals including admins, developers, and data engineers.
  • Define best practices for data ingestion, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming pipelines.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams to align initiatives with overall data strategy.
  • Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of data implementations.
  • Stay current with new data capabilities and releases.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform, with at least 3+ years dedicated to Data Cloud/Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, data integration, and enterprise solution design.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming (Kafka, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, identity resolution, consent management, and profile unification.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and data harmonization techniques.
  • Experience integrating data platforms with AI tools and personalization journeys.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
