Job Description

Empower rural women through high-quality food products by working with a pioneering foodtech startup on a mission to uplift women in underserved communities.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to design and scale programs that drive gender-inclusive development.

  • Research and draft proposals that align corporate goals with community needs, ensuring the seamless integration of business objectives and social impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals that reflect organizational values, fostering a culture of cooperation and shared purpose.
  • Identify companies with active mandates in gender equity and rural development, then present tailored proposals and maintain follow-ups to build long-term partnerships.
  • Engage with NGOs working in rural women empowerment to understand their models and impact metrics, leveraging this knowledge to co-create scalable interventions.

Requirements

  • Pursue a degree in Economics, Development Studies, or related fields, demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant academic disciplines.
  • Develop strong communication skills and a passion for gender-inclusive development, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Exhibit proactive, self-motivated behavior and be comfortable working remotely, adapting to changing circumstances and deadlines.
