Job Title: Interior Design Lead

About the Role:

The interior design lead will oversee every aspect of interior design, ensuring quality, aesthetics, and functionality meet the highest standards in luxury holiday homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership & Oversight: Lead the design development process with external consultants and internal managers, aligning all design deliverables with the company's luxury brand ethos.
  • Team Management: Manage relationships with world-class interior design consultants, build a strong internal team of design managers, delegate effectively, and maintain personal oversight on critical checkpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales to translate client aspirations into feasible design solutions, partner with architectural, construction, and finishing teams to ensure on-ground execution matches design intent, and resolve conflicts between aesthetics, timelines, and costs.
  • Site Supervision & Execution Excellence: Maintain an active presence on sites to oversee finishing and detailing, conduct meticulous snagging and quality checks to ensure flawless delivery, and uphold high standards of precision.
  • Commercial Awareness & Value Engineering: Balance creativity with commercial sensibility, optimizing designs for cost without diluting the luxury experience, and review BOQs, indents, and vendor submissions to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and design alignment.
  • Innovation & Future-Readiness: Bring global best practices and innovative materials into projects, explore digital tools for visualization, moodboarding, and reimagine processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining design purity.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a highly experienced interior designer with 10+ years of experience in luxury residential or hospitality interiors. The ideal candidate will have a degree in interior design or related field, a strong portfolio showcasing luxury projects with uncompromising detail and finish, and exceptional aesthetic sensibility, commercial acumen, leadership ability, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury residential or hospitality interiors.
  • Degree in interior design or related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing luxury projects with uncompromising detail and finish.
  • Exceptional aesthetic sensibility.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
