Iron Ore Procurement Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our iron ore acquisition and logistics operations.

This role involves strategic sourcing of high-quality iron ore from global suppliers, effective negotiation of pricing and delivery terms, and management of vendor relationships.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and optimal pricing.
  • Source iron ore from reliable suppliers while adhering to quality standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry norms.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any field.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in iron ore trading and procurement.
  • In-depth understanding of iron ore grades, mining operations, and Goan mining regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
