API Platform Deployment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled APIGEE platform professional with strong expertise in deploying and managing hybrid runtime environments on cloud-native infrastructure.

  • Routine Operations:
  • Create, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime planes on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem Kubernetes).
  • Maintain and upgrade the entire APIGEE X environment to ensure seamless execution of all platform functionalities.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex issues with API runtime components like Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop scripts using Bash/Shell and Python for optimizing application performance, troubleshooting runtime issues, and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to support API proxy deployments, implement efficient monitoring strategies, and optimize overall system performance.
  • Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for APIGEE platform upgrades and API lifecycle management.
  • Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and resolve runtime and infrastructure-related issues effectively.
  • Partner with network, security, and cloud teams to configure secure and compliant infrastructure.
  • Implement multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, ensuring integration and governance across all platforms.
  • Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and automation workflows.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with deploying and managing APIGEE Hybrid runtime on Kubernetes clusters, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and utilizing Helm charts for Kubernetes applications. Proficiency in scripting languages and Google Cloud Platform is required.
