  • Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist
  • Mandatory Skills:
    • Technical Support – 24/7 Shift (2–5 Years Experience)
Brief Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. This involves monitoring and responding to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines, performing remote troubleshooting and escalating unresolved issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting users across different time zones and ensuring minimal downtime. Logs of shift activities and handover reports must be maintained for continuity. Collaboration with global IT teams is essential for coordinated support.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  2. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely
  3. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications
  4. Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments
  5. Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates
  6. Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts
  7. Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues
  8. Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications
  9. Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices
  10. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies
