Remote Desktop Engineer

This is a job for an experienced Remote Desktop Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining remote desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable, secure, and high-performance remote desktop architectures
  • Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud, with Azure virtual desktop services
  • Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments
  • Implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls
  • Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Ongoing performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting of remote desktop environments
  • Document design decisions, implementation guides, and operational procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role designing and implementing remote desktop solutions using Citrix technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud
  • Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls
