Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounting for designated legal entities in the APAC region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Financial Accounting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial accounting for designated legal entities in the APAC region.
  • Premises and Payments: Post month-end accruals and prepayments to capture all costs for local and US reporting needs. Set up and input bank transactions into the ledger as journals.
  • Cash Management: Produce daily cash reports for all APAC businesses and review daily cash requirements to ensure appropriate funding arrangements.
  • Treasury Functions: Perform certain treasury functions, including making payments and settling interco invoices.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations of control accounts, bank accounts, and asset debtor and creditor accounts based on risk categories.
  • Year-End Audit: Collaborate with the Finance Manager, local advisors, and other team members to ensure year-end audit, statutory accounts, and tax returns are filed on time.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Experience: Should have 1-2+ years' experience working for a multinational corporation with regional accounting responsibilities.
  • Accounting Systems: Experienced with accounting systems, preferably Oracle, reporting, and reconciliation requirements.
  • US GAAP: Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills at an intermediate level, with Hyperion experience desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and oral English capabilities.
