Senior Developer Opportunity

A senior developer position has arisen for a seasoned professional who can also move up to team lead, focusing on .NET technology. This engineer will work on critical projects involving data/user migration, implementing/update a new API layer and application migrations to cloud.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the desire and ability to lead a project and mature themselves into a development leader. There is also extensive opportunity to progress onto other technology stacks and services running on the cloud.

  • 4-5 years of professional development experience with Microsoft technologies
  • Strong development skills in C# or .NET, developing web applications, WPF, WCF, and web services
  • Strong development skills for custom .NET sites, applications, and 3rd party system integrations eg: Address lookup with Loqate
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of database concepts, querying, and development (stored procedures, functions) using SQL Server or similar DBs
  • Good understanding of Jira, GitHub or similar tools for work management
  • Experience in app modernisation and migration projects is a plus
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure is a plus
  • Ability to understand business requirements from solutions architects and product managers from onshore team
  • Continually look for and drive improvement to processes and tooling
  • Collaborate with other engineers, developers, architects, QA, system engineers and product managers in solving new and existing technical issues
