Job Title:
A key member of the team responsible for reducing financial losses through effective chargeback management.
Key Responsibilities:- Chargeback Management:
- Handle daily chargeback cases in a timely manner to minimize exposure.
- Investigate disputes thoroughly and ensure accurate documentation.
- Identify trends and root causes of disputes.
- Dispute Reduction Strategies:
- Analyze dispute data to identify high-risk merchants or patterns leading to chargebacks.
- Collaborate with merchants to implement fraud prevention tools and transaction verification processes.
- Share regular insights with stakeholders to improve dispute win rates.
- Process Optimization:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with risk policies.
- Balance risk mitigation with service delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product, promotions, and operations teams to assess risk impact.
- Provide input during product design and rollout to ensure risk controls are embedded.
- Support business decisions with data-driven insights.
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure adherence to Visa, Mastercard, JCB, CUP, Diners, and other card scheme regulations.
