Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects.

The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in the pulp and paper industry, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management, technical-commercial coordination, and equipment selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams to ensure scope, time, and budget adherence.
  • Oversee project design, engineering, procurement, erection, and commissioning activities.
  • Drive coordination between project and commercial teams to translate technical specifications into commercial terms.
  • Evaluate and select equipment and technology solutions aligned with industry advancements and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory norms across all project stages.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk assessments for upcoming projects.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Engage with vendors, assess quotations, and perform competitive analysis for procurement decisions.
  • Manage project reporting, performance metrics, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the project execution team.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues post-commissioning with O&M insights from papermachine, pulp mill, and utility units.

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with proven experience in CAPEX planning and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of pulp and paper industry processes, machinery, and utilities.
  • Excellent techno-commercial capabilities with strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in selection, erection, and commissioning of industrial equipment.
  • Sound understanding of O&M best practices for papermachine, pulp mill, and utility.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in project documentation, scheduling tools (like MS Project/Primavera), and cost control systems.
