Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exports Commercial Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the export receivable process, ensuring timely payment from customers, and reducing the number of outstanding debts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Follow up with customers for overdue payments
  • Analyze and reduce debtors' days
  • Develop and implement collection plans to achieve targets
  • Rationalize payment terms to improve cash flow

In addition, the role involves coordinating with finance and logistics departments to ensure smooth and timely receipt of bills of lading and payments.

Statutory Compliance/Audit/Contract Management:

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and other statutory requirements. This includes:

  • Tracking invoices from sales order books to payment
  • Coordinating with internal and statutory auditors to resolve queries
  • Finalizing contracts and agreements related to exports business

ECGC Insurance:

The role involves ensuring coverage of unsecured debtors through ECGC credit insurance.

Exports Operations:

The candidate will monitor and control exports operations of group or associate companies, identifying opportunities to do business in challenging markets.

System Controls/MIS/SAP:

The successful candidate will be responsible for system controls and management information systems (MIS) using SAP.
