
Senior Business Growth Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead business growth in designated industry verticals/territories. This entails strategic planning, customer relationship management, and effective sales tactics to achieve predetermined sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a sales plan for assigned vertical/territory, identifying potential clients, highlighting customer requirements, and forecasting market trends.
- Maintain weekly oversight of sales targets at the territory/vertical level, flagging deviations, and initiating corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to sales budgets at the territory level.
- Identify potential business opportunities from multiple channels and develop a pursuit plan.
- Negotiate and finalize terms with clients regarding product specifications, payment terms, and timelines, obtaining approval from the Reporting Manager.
- Foster and maintain relationships with customers in the territory to facilitate a deep understanding of their needs and direct swift resolution of any customer queries.
- Identify opportunities for integrated solutions, such as orders involving motors/automation products systems, and report them to managers.
- Ensure that customer specifications are documented in relevant formats and forwarded to concerned departments.
- Liaise with operations teams at centers to ensure execution of orders in line with predefined timelines and criteria.
- Liaise with customers regularly and ensure changes in order specifications are communicated to concerned departments.
- Ensure collections from clients as per contractual agreements.
- Ensure timely dispatch of goods to client sites as per delivery schedules.
- Ensure adherence to policies/processes to enhance response quality and minimize response time to customer queries, providing required support to customers.
- Lead the establishment of service centers or identify partner agencies to provide quick after-sales service to customers.
- Provide technical support to customers on after-sales-related issues.
- Ensure all customer complaints are recorded and resolved within predefined timelines.
- Ensure all customer interaction activities are properly logged and updated in appropriate systems.
- Ensure timely responses to customers on any queries/issues raised by them during finalization/execution/post-execution sales.
- Liaise with networks of distributors and dealers in territories, escalating significant issues to superiors.
- Ensure effective management of all activities related to dealers, including stock booking, raising invoices, making payments, etc.
- Stay abreast of developments in territories and provide data to marketing teams on potential opportunities for expansion/diversification into new markets/geographies.
This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is essential.
