Electrical Engineer PCB Design

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and optimize printed circuit boards. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in resolving issues related to reliability, schedule, and cost.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.
  • To generate detailed fabrication drawings of printed circuit boards (PCB) and Gerber files.
  • To create hardware design documents covering design analysis, notes, and guidelines.
  • To architect and develop high-performance/bandwidth PCBs.
  • To perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation.
  • To transfer schematic net-list design into physical PCB design based on electrical considerations.
  • To create and manage PCB documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files.
  • To coordinate and approve PCB layout.
  • To prepare BOM and fabrication documentation and follow revision control procedures.
  • To bring up and test of the PCBs and auxiliary electronics.
  • To develop PCB layout concepts aligned with efficient manufacturing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, design, electronics engineering, embedded system engineering, ECE, or ETC.

Familiarity with two or more PCB designing tools such as KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools.

Knowledge of PCB failure modes and reliability in extreme environments.

Excellent knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials.

Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals.

Strong logic/board debug and analytical skills.
