Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge and Auto CAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge and Auto CAD.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and report figures as directed.
  • Perform design changes and improvements in a timely manner according to project demands.
  • Estimate and plan for marine operation projects.
  • Coordinate with Engineers to align on deliverable timelines and schedules.
  • Perform quality control checks on own work to ensure accuracy.
  • Inform the engineering team about project planning.
  • Participate in scheduled project review sessions and meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in design projects in the marine/offshore/mechanical/civil steel structural industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Civil, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture or comparable field.
  • Expert level knowledge in CAD software Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
  • Able to understand engineering drawings and convert 2D drawings to 3D models and vice versa with ease.
  • Highly organized self-starter able to prioritize work to meet changing timelines.
  • Able to maintain document control.
  • Good experience in performing hand calculation & results interpretation.
  • Collaborate efficiently with team members.
  • Open to travel offshore.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
