Fire Safety Manager Role

We are seeking a Fire Safety Manager to oversee fire safety and protection systems in commercial properties, IT parks, or data centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing campus fire hydrants, sprinklers, and DC fire protection systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Functional Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of fire detection and protection systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and manage fires and other emergencies, working closely with emergency services and agencies.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborate with agencies to enforce fire safety standards and regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest guidelines and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and education to firefighters and emergency personnel on fire safety procedures and protocols.
  • Drills and Simulations: Organize regular drills and simulations to test readiness and improve response capabilities.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest firefighting techniques, equipment, and safety practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as fire safety or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in commercial properties, IT parks, or data centers, with a strong understanding of fire protection and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with key industry standards, including NBC, NFPA, BIS, and OISD.
