Job Opportunity: Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Specialist

  • We seek a highly skilled Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in producing concept design, schematic, development, and construction design for plumbing and firefighting systems.
  • Responsibilities include creating tender drawings of plumbing and firefighting systems, providing calculated notes as required, preparing shop drawings for submission and resubmission, selecting and preparing materials for submission, coordinating with suppliers to obtain quotations and technical documents, taking off BOQs of firefighting and plumbing systems, and preparing information on design, structure specification, materials, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.
  • The selected candidate will also consult with consultants to determine MEP functions and spatial requirements, closely coordinate with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams, direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents, plan project layouts, prepare scale drawings, collaborate with supervisors to prepare technical reports and installation documentation, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in plumbing and firefighting system design.
  • Strong understanding of building services, including water supply, drainage, HVAC, fire protection, and sprinkler systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
