Security professionals are critical to protecting an organization’s digital assets from various threats. At Porter, we’re seeking a seasoned Information Security Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our systems and data against cyber threats.

Job Description:

The Information Security Associate is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and enforcing privacy policies, procedures, and controls. This includes identifying technological opportunities and evaluating the security impacts on end points.

  • Design, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls
  • Support the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to new engagements
  • Identify technological opportunities and evaluate the security impacts on end points

As an Information Security Associate, you will also be responsible for preventing/deter theft and fraud through physical presence and engagement. Additionally, you will support the security team by carrying out day-to-day operational tasks using specialized applications, tools, and platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with infrastructure administration and management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and report writing
  • Ability to learn and understand fire and security systems, including EAS Systems
  • Knowledge of Symantec Control Compliance Suite preferred
