Accountant Role

This is a key position in our organization where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing month-end close activities, day-to-day transactions, and compliance with corporate policies and processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Oversee month-end close activities to ensure adherence to US GAAP;
  • - Manage day-to-day transactions and maintain compliance with corporate policies and processes;
  • - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly balance sheet and profit & loss statement reconciliations;
  • - Provide assistance in resolving ad-hoc queries from internal stakeholders;
  • - Conduct regular reviews of fixed assets and reconcile with books on a monthly basis;
  • - Collaborate with team members by providing inputs on process improvements;
  • - Coordinate with auditors for timely closure of audits;

Requirements:

  • - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS/Statutory Reporting;
  • - Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or SaaS business;
  • - Proven experience in managing MNC environments and knowledge of Finance and Accounting in other markets;
  • - Strong understanding of MIS and Financial reporting;
  • - Experience managing the month-end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less;
  • - Knowledge/experience in Accounting Standards: U.S. GAAP or IGAAP;
  • - Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
